I am a long time reader of Jodi Picoult, but I’ll admit it had been a while since I read one of her books. I was pleased as always with this new release. It was the first book I have read since the pandemic which covers a fictional story based on the Covid-19 pandemic. While I realize some readers may not be ready to read about the pandemic yet, since it is still very much present in our lives, I did find that what Jodi did with the story was worth the read and intriguing.
I will not give anything away, but I would call this a fast read, with a huge plot twist in the middle. I recommend this to folks who like Jodi, although it is a slight departure from her normal legal types of fictional stories, both styles I enjoy.
