I thoroughly enjoyed this read, even more than I expected. I really knew nothing about C.S. Lewis other than him authoring The Lion, the Witch, and The Wardrobe, which I read and enjoyed as a child.
I found learning about him and his life through the eyes and voice of the woman who would ultimately become his wife to be fascinating and just a really great story. It read more like a memoir, which I love.
I truly enjoyed Patti Callahan’s writing style and look forward to reading many more of her books.
