This is the third book I’ve read by Kristin Harmel and they have all been 5 star reads and then some! This one was fantastic and I’ll be recommending it forever. If you enjoy historical fiction, but not just another WWII era story about lost love, war perils, etc. Kristen is your new favorite author.
Now to get to the library to pick up the two books from her backlist I’ve not read yet, and to move her newest “The Forest of Vanishing Stars” up higher on my To Be Read List. Kristin is truly gifted at writing the historical fiction genre in a masterful way that surpasses other authors. This is a must read.
