Mini Review: The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo

I had this book unread on my shelf for way too long considering how good it turned out to be. I had heard so many people rave about it, and was a bit skeptical. It wasn’t a subject I am normally be drawn to, regarding the lives of Hollywood stars, but I found it riveting and loved every word.

I loved that it covered so many controversial topics for the time period, many of which are still of discord today. The book had several unexpected parts to it that I also thought added to what could have just felt like a biography. I ultimately really enjoyed the book and it will stay with me for a long time. I have not read others by Reid, but am now looking forward to going through her backlist.
